I photograph live music across the range — orchestral and classical concerts, bands, and festival stages. The venue and the genre change the light and the pace, but the goal stays the same: images that carry the energy of the performance, not just a record that it happened.

ask a questionA concert hall has its own rules — no flash, limited movement, and light that is built for the audience\u{2019}s eyes, not a camera. I work within that, from a position agreed with the venue in advance, to bring back images of the conductor, the soloists and the ensemble that feel like the performance rather than a snapshot of it.
These photos are used for programmes, season reports, press, and the orchestra\u{2019}s or venue\u{2019}s own archive of a performance that otherwise exists only in the room for one evening.
Live band photography moves fast — changing light, movement on stage, a short window before security asks photographers to step back. I shoot to keep up with that pace and still come back with a clean, usable set: the performers, the crowd, and the atmosphere of the night.
This covers a single gig, a full festival day, or a series of shows for a promoter or a band that needs material for press and social media.
