Photos of your own production or construction site say more than stock images. They show real people, your equipment and how the work is actually done.

Companies use these photos on their website, in tenders, in the annual report, for recruitment and employer branding and on social media. Here is what I photograph, how a shoot is prepared and how I work without getting in the way.

What I photograph

People at work, without staged poses: hands, focus, teamwork. Machinery and equipment in operation. The process step by step, so an outsider understands how the job is done.

I take both wide shots of the whole site and close-up details. I am happy to photograph night shifts and work under floodlights: the light, the steam and the hi-vis clothing give images a lot of character.

Preparation, safety and not disturbing the work

Before the shoot we agree where and when the work takes place, which stages matter most and who my contact person on site is. I take the site safety induction and wear the protective gear required.

If the site requires ID06 or SSG Entre, I obtain it before the assignment. On site I keep my distance from the machines, follow instructions and never ask people to stop working for a picture.

Confidentiality: I am happy to work under an NDA and never show photos with the client’s name without permission.

Example: night-time asphalt paving on a bridge in Lerum

On 31 August 2026, I photographed night-time asphalt paving on a bridge in Lerum municipality. The series came to 149 photos.

The photos cover the whole chain: trucks delivering asphalt, the paver, the roller in the steam, the crew under floodlights and details of the work. A series like this is enough for a website, a tender and months of social media posts.
